Why a modern Indian airport is hard on elderly travellers

We call your parent the day before
Confirm flight time, ask about wheelchair/medical needs, share representative's name and photo so they recognise them at the airport.
Day of travel — representative meets at kerb

Arrival side (if international/connecting)

Yes — free with Premium and Elite plans at all 11 airports. Just mention 'wheelchair required' in the booking notes. The wheelchair is sourced from the airport's own pool (mandatory at every Indian airport) and our representative pushes it through the airport with your parent.
Can I book this for my parents while I am in another country?+
Absolutely — this is 70% of our senior-care bookings. Book from your phone (USA, UK, UAE, anywhere), pay in any major currency, and we coordinate with your parents directly in Hindi or their preferred language. You get real-time WhatsApp updates on the day of travel.
What if my elderly parent doesn't speak English?+
Our airport representatives speak Hindi fluently and most also speak the local language of the city. Helpline supports Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, and Gujarati. Language is never a barrier.
What exactly does the representative do at the airport?+
Meets your parent at kerbside, takes bags, walks at their pace to check-in, helps complete check-in, escorts through security (fast-track lanes), helps with immigration if international, accompanies right up to the boarding gate, and stays until boarding starts. Which plan should I book — Basic, Premium, or Elite?+
Premium is right for most elderly travellers (full meet-and-greet, porter, buggy, fast-track, gate escort). Elite adds 2-hour complimentary lounge — recommended for long waits, international departures, or if your parent needs quiet rest space. Basic is curbside-to-checkin only — not enough for most elderly passengers travelling alone.

What if the flight is delayed by several hours?+
We monitor flight status in real time. The representative reschedules automatically — no action from you or your parent. For delays beyond 3 hours, our 24×7 WhatsApp helpline updates you directly.
Cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before flight. For medical emergencies within 24 hours, write to info@airportporterservice.com with a doctor's note — we waive the no-show fee as a goodwill practice. Refunds processed in 5-7 working days.
