Seoul Incheon (ICN) Meet & Assist: What It Costs, What It Covers, and Why There Is No Fast Track

This post is the introduction: what we sell at Incheon, what each service actually covers, what it costs, and the two or three things about this airport that catch travellers out.

The one-line version

A protocol-trained escort meets you at the aircraft bridge as you step off the plane, walks you through immigration, quarantine, customs and the baggage carousel, and hands you to your driver at the kerb. On departure it runs the other way — met as you reach the terminal, taken through check-in, baggage drop, security, immigration, currency exchange and tax refund, and escorted to the gate.

Let's deal with fast track first, because everyone asks

Incheon International Airport does not sell a commercial or paid fast-track service. Its fast-track lanes are reserved for airport-authorised passengers — seniors, travellers with infants, pregnant travellers, passengers with reduced mobility, and airline crew.

Anyone selling you "Incheon fast track" is selling you something the airport does not offer. We are not going to do that.

What genuinely saves time at Incheon is different, and it is real: knowing which of the two terminals you actually need, knowing that your gate may be in a remote concourse reached by shuttle train, knowing the right counter, and having every conversation with immigration, quarantine and customs handled in Korean on your behalf. That is what the escort does.

What we sell at Incheon, and what each service covers

Arrival Concierge — airbridge greeting with a name board, immigration assistance, baggage collection, customs clearance, and the handover to your vehicle.

Departure Concierge — airport greeting, check-in and baggage drop, security assistance, immigration, currency exchange and tax refund, then escort to the boarding gate.

Transit Concierge — for connections. Met at your arrival gate, walked across the terminal transfer and transit security, guided to your departure gate, boarding confirmed. Arrival Hall Meet & Greet — the shorter version: an escort waiting at the arrivals exit with a name board, luggage help, and guidance to your vehicle pick-up point. It starts landside, after you have cleared the formalities yourself.

Porter Service — baggage retrieval at the carousel, transport to your designated location, and loading into your vehicle. One porter covers 4 pieces, and you can add as many as your luggage needs.

The pricing is per party, not per person

This is the part that differs from most of our network. At Incheon, one guest or three pay the same price. An arrival escort is US$250 whether you are travelling alone or as a family of three, with up to three bags included.

Parties of five or six move to the group services. A party of four sits between the two published bands — so rather than invent a price by splitting the difference, we confirm it by quote. Same for anything above six.

Adding a car to Seoul

Incheon is on Yeongjong Island, roughly 50 km and about an hour from central Seoul. You can bundle a private vehicle with the arrival or departure concierge, running to any address in the city:

Three things about Incheon that catch people out

1. There are two terminals, and they are far apart. Terminal 1 serves Asiana, Star Alliance, oneworld and most low-cost carriers. Terminal 2 serves Korean Air and its SkyTeam partners — Delta, Air France, KLM. They are 15–20 minutes apart by free shuttle bus. Arriving at the wrong one is the most common way to miss a flight here, which is why we ask for your flight number rather than your terminal.

2. Terminal 1 departures are often called from Concourse A — a remote satellite reached by an automated shuttle train. Most connection calculators do not account for it.

3. Connecting between terminals means clearing transit security again. If your connection is under about three hours, book the transit service rather than an arrival and a departure separately.

Booking

Book at least 24 hours before your service time. Escorts are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so shorter notice can often still be arranged — but 24 hours is what secures the slot.
